The future of Joshua Kimmich (28 years old) has been one of the big topics on the market for months. Although the German is an important piece of Bayern, there has been talk for a long time about the possibility that he could leave. The position of the footballer, who is looking for a new agent to face a market exit, has only fueled the rumors about a possible departure from Bayern.
His name has been linked in recent months with teams like Barça and PSG, which for weeks had been studying the possibility of incorporating him in January. But the footballers’ latest statements have served to clear up their short-term future.
“I only focus on Bayern. For me, in winter this is not an issue at all. “I think that at some point the club will approach me and we will discuss it among ourselves and not with you,” he recalled, pointing to a journalist.
With these statements Kimmich sent a clear message: at the moment he is not leaving Bayern. That is, at least in this winter market it will not be an alternative for any team and that includes Barça and PSG, two clubs that are looking for a midfielder to reinforce the midfield.
Something else will be next June. At 28 years old, and with a contract until 2025, he understands that it would be the perfect opportunity to start a new adventure and leave a notable transfer in the coffers of the club that has welcomed him since its formation.
For months now, the disagreements between Kimmich and the internal functioning of a troubled Bayern Munich have been public and notorious..
