The Australian Open’s New Experiment: Free Movement for Fans Causing Controversy in the Locker Room

The Australian Open experiments with one of the rules that is causing the most controversy in the first big’s locker room.

The tournament management has decided allow free movement of fans at the conclusion of each game. In the rest of the competitions, changes of sides are expected.

Some players like Novak Djokovic did not even know the regulations that the Australian Open was going to use.

He has encountered fans constantly leaving and entering the Rod Laver Arena during his victory this Sunday in the first round against Croatian Dino Prizmic.

“For me it is complicated because I am used to something else and we have lost a lot of time. I understand that it is a decision made more thinking about the people and I know that there are players like Frances Tiafoe who like it,” he explained in conclusion.
