Zhang Zhijia is a talented pitcher and has been praised by many youth baseball coaches. He also led Gubao Jiashang to win the Golden Dragon Banner championship in 1998, and entered Heku after graduation. Zhang Zhijia won the 1998 Autumn League in November 1998. He pitched twenty-eight innings in seven days, scoring four wins and striking out twenty-nine for Hopkin. This shows his amazing physical strength and talent.
Zhang Zhijia showed off his talents in the 2001 World Cup Baseball Tournament. At that time, he was playing against the Japanese team in the third-place match. His opponents were all Japanese professional players, including Shinnosuke Abe and Yunobu Takahashi. Zhang Zhijia relied on “speed and slow” and other moves. Zhang Zhijia first played for the Chengtai Suns of the Taiwan Major League for half a season, and then joined the Seibu Lions. He even filmed an advertisement at that time, which shows that he is very popular.
Zhang Zhijia was once selected as a candidate for the Japanese Rookie King, but in the end it was difficult to win the award because he qualified as a foreigner. He also helped the Chinese team qualify for the Athens Olympics in the 2003 Asian Championships, and can be said to be an ace in international competitions.
However, Zhang Zhijia later returned to Japan, but due to the amnesia of the pitcher and the condition of changing his posture, he returned to Taiwan to work hard in the Chinese Professional Baseball League and joined the La New Bears. In 2009, he was involved in a match-fixing case, so he left the secondary vocational school and was never hired. Zhang Zhijia later left the golf world and worked as an apprentice at Teppanyaki. He was also introduced by other friends and wanted to make a comeback. In recent years, he has served as a golf professional Coach, and went to the other side to develop.
