Jena. Traditional start of the year for the judoka Schwarza
The international judo tournament for the Sparkasse Cup in Jena is the traditional start of the year for the SV 1883 Schwarza players. On the first of the two days of competition, nine-year-old Michele Böhm won the gold medal, while his sports friend Luisa Rudolf (photo; here in an earlier competition) won bronze. On the second day, Alison Maurer won silver and Artem Pavlenko won bronze. For Paula Karol, Hugo Köhler, Salah Almadalall, Artur Safiullin and the U18 fighters Jonas Kreuder and Aaron Dathe it was not enough for a top placement. Jonas Kreuder, like Jonas Schwarz, was also active as a referee on one day. The team was coached by Stefan Giller.
