The archery club joined the COC Omnisports around twenty years ago.
To date, it has 21 licensees and 16 archers in adapted sports.
President Éliane Gonthier is very satisfied with the performances accomplished by many of them: “ The club has very good archers. Our young U15/U18 and seniors shone in 2023 ».
The minor Thomas Vitry obtained the gold medal at the 2023 departmental championship. He was selected regionally and participated in the French championship in Vendée. Following the 2024 departmental championship events which took place recently at La Flèche, he retained his title.
Cadet Victor Olivier also obtained a gold medal at the 2023 departmentals. He started this sport around ten years ago. He is also a young international referee at the UNSS (National School Sports Union).
Vice-president
His investment does not stop there since last year, he has assisted Éliane Gonthier in her capacity as vice-president: “ I wanted to participate in the management of the club. I help supervise young people. This allows me to share my knowledge and skills.”
