Star Linebacker TJ Watt Ruled Out for Steelers’ Playoff Game Against Bills Due to Knee Injury

It is without star linebacker TJ Watt that the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon, for their first playoff game.

Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed the absence of Watt on Tuesday, who is still dealing with a knee injury.

Watt was injured in the final game of the season, against the Baltimore Ravens, and had to leave the game. On Monday, Ian Rapoport reported that Watt suffered a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament sprain.

Watt could be back in two weeks with a knee brace.

This season, Watt had 19 sacks and made 68 tackles, including eight in the final game of the season. Watt also had an interception in October.
