Under the watchful eye of Marouane Fellaini, without a club since his departure from China, Dortmund opened the scoring against Standard with a header from another Belgian, Thomas Meunier.
Standard responded with 2 goals from Kanga and a goal from Perica. Papadopoulos and Bamba scored for Dortmund.
In a practice match against Lugano, Genk was already on dry land at half time after goals from Oyen (2x) and Sor. In the final minute, Tolu put the 4-0 on the scoreboard.
