Last year’s European rally vice-champion Cesk and his co-driver Renārs Francis, together with the “Sports Racing Technologies” team, had gone to Finland, where they conducted tests with the “Toyota GR Yaris Rally2”. The test drives took place in fabulous winter conditions, although very cold, as the frost was about -15 degrees.
At the moment, Mārtiņš’s plans for the upcoming season are not yet known, but it is clear that he is aiming for something even higher than so far. Maybe we will see him directly behind the wheel of this “Rally2” car. It is expected that Cesk could also compete in the world championship stages, certainly in Latvia, where the WRC will visit for the first time. Many fans hope that our athletes will compete in “Tet Rally Latvia” with one of the “Rally1” cars.
