Santa Eulària consolidates itself as an event in the Spanish Open Water Swimming Cup

The Santa Eulària Mini Ultraswim will once again be one of the scoring events for the RFEN Tour 2024 Spanish Open Water Cup, which is in its ninth edition, expanding the number of stages to 18.

The Ibizan competition, which since 2017 has been part of the national open water circuit, will be held on June 2, as confirmed by the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation and the Santa Eulària Yacht Club, organizer of the event.

The Mini Ultraswim has a distance of 5,000 meters in the open sea and will be the fourth stage of the IX Spanish Cup. There will be another popular distance of 1 kilometer. The registration price will be 22 euros and there will be cash prizes for the first classified.

The 18 events that make up the circuit are divided into three large groups: RFEN Tour 1000 (winners add 1000 points), RFEN Tour 500 (winners add 500 points) and RFEN Tour 250 (winners add 250 points), to which The quote from Villa del Río belongs. As a big novelty, three tests have been added to the calendar: Cervera de Buitrago (Madrid), La Sardina (Bilbao) and Fuengirola (Málaga). The circuit will start on April 27 in La Travesía El Anillo (Cáceres) and will close on September 28 or 29 with the Final Stage, with a venue yet to be determined.
