San Lorenzo Falls to Lanús 2-0 Despite Debut of New Signings

San Lorenzo did not have its best version. Despite the expectations in the run-up, the Barça team fell to Lanús 2-0 with the debut of all the reinforcements.

It was a good first half for San Lorenzo. With the inclusion of Adam Bareiro among the starters after not having trained for 10 days, the team tried to be the protagonist during the first 45 minutes. And he got it.

Despite the lack of effectiveness in the last meters, the Ciclón generated the most dangerous plays at the feet of Cristian Ferreira and Nahuel Barrios. So much so that Bareiro had the opportunity to open the scoring on two occasions, although he never managed to position himself comfortably to take a clean shot.

With some Barça attempts, and without much offensive presence from Lanús, the first half at the Pedro Bidegain ended without differences for either team.

The complement differed in its beginning from the first half. Lanús sought to get a little further ahead and managed to reach the rival goal where Facundo Altamirano positioned himself and dressed as a figure and managed to cover the rival goal situations.

However, Insua was not satisfied and, taking advantage of the transfer market, he made all his reinforcements debut in order to find new offensive variants.

Although with the changes the team managed to regain offensive ground, a distraction in defense caused Walter Bou to have the shot left to make it 1-0 at the Nuevo Gasómetro.

When the game began to reach the end, a new bad combination by San Lorenzo led to the second and last goal for Lanús again by Bou, who took advantage of the poor marking of Carlos Sánchez and defined in a great way to sentence the game.

With this result, San Lorenzo failed in its first League Cup match and fell 2-0 against a Lanús that did a lot of damage to a defense that will have a lot to correct.
