The path undertaken for the past 8 years to bring sport closer to solidarity and send messages of high human as well as educational value continued yesterday evening in Sala Consilina with the initiative carried out by the Polisportiva Basket Sala Consilina in collaboration with Diesel Tecnica Basketball and with the patronage of the municipal administration. Yesterday evening, January 4th, a conference entitled “Sport, security and solidarity” was held at the Capuchin Cultural Center which, through sporting activity and, specifically basketball, aims to raise awareness among young people on the issues of solidarity towards vulnerable people but also road safety.
It is no coincidence, in fact, that the event also saw the participation of Mrs. Pietrina Paladino, mother of the very young Maria Dorotea Di Sia, who died due to a dramatic road accident, and of Agnese Aliberti, mother of little Lua, suffering from Rett syndrome. Two people who constantly experience the difficulties and pains of life from which they draw enormous courage and strength by carrying out numerous awareness-raising activities. Also present at last night’s event in Sala Consilina were the mayor of Sala Francesco Cavallone and the regional councilor Corrado Matera who did not want to miss the highly educational event. “Yesterday at the weekend – commented Matera – the weekend became a great opportunity ???????? ???? ???????? ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? on important topics such as ???????????????? ???? ???????? ????????????????????????????????????????????̀, proving that ???????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????????????????????, ???????????? ???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? ???? ???????????????????????????????????? ???????????? ???????? ???? ????????????????????” . Highlighting the emotion aroused by the interventions of Pietrina Paladino and Agnese Aliberti, the Hon. Corrado Matera wanted to congratulate the organizer of the event Simona Sica and those who contributed to the realization of the initiative.

The words of the Italian Mini Basket manager Maurizio Cremonini were then significant as he urged sports teachers to go beyond simple sports training, recalling how it is necessary for children to be educated for life and therefore teach them human values such as respect for rules and people as well as solidarity, through sport.
