The 31-year-old Senegalese said “I do” to his long-time girlfriend Aisha Tamba shortly before the continental tournament in his home country. However, the newlywed is only 18 years old. The Nigerian portal “Pulse Sport” reports that Tamba has been destined for the former Liverpool and Bayern attacker since her youth.
Mané has been looking after her financially for a long time and also took over her bills when the daughter of a Senegalese architect was still at school. Senegalese law states that the minimum age for a relationship with an adult is 16 years.
