Relaxed reunion in Ezeiza, routine medical check-ups, talk by Martín Demichelis in front of everyone and getting up early to travel to the United States. This was River’s itinerary in the last hours. After the holidays, the Millionaire returned to work with his sights set on the start of the League Cup and at 3 AM this Sunday he got on the plane to Orlando.
The delegation will stay at the Legacy Hotel, inside the IMG Academy in Bradenton, and the idea is to play between two and three friendlies on American territory (there is already one confirmed against Monterrey). With new faces among the travelers such as the youth players Mastantuono and Subiabre and the first reinforcement Fonseca, River also took flight with a temporary leave.
Miguel Borja was not at the return to training as he was abroad carrying out family procedures. With prior notice and agreement with the coaching staff and leadership, the Colibrí will join the squad directly at this time when they are already installed in Orlando.
