After his success in Oreias, Leandro Riedi won in Louvain-La-Neuve to win his fourth title on the Challengers front. Having fallen to 320th place at the start of the month, it will be ranked around 175th this Monday. After a year 2023 disrupted by numerous injuries, the Zurich native, who celebrated his 22nd birthday on Saturday, is now perfectly “launched” to have a magnificent 2024 season.
In Belgium where he came from the qualifications, Leandro Riedi beat Borna Coric (ATP 40) 7-5 6-2 in the final. Seeded No. 1 in the table, the Croatian was disarmed by his opponent’s forehand verve.
