The first of the three interprovincial phases of the School Championship was held in Guadalajara for the children’s and cadet categories. 160 competitors participated, fighting for points that, added to the remaining phases, will allow them to qualify for the future final of the Spanish Championship. Judokas from Tomelloso, Criptana and Kuzushi Villarrubia competed on behalf of teams from the province. The next phase in these sub 15 and sub 18 categories will be on March 2 in Albacete and the competition will end on April 6 in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo), while the sub 13s will begin their competition in Tomelloso on March 9 and will conclude on April 20 in Illescas (Toledo).
