Franz Beckenbauer (†78) is above everything on the 17th Bundesliga matchday. A minute’s silence was held for the Bayern legend in all stadiums. Beckenbauer fell asleep peacefully surrounded by his family last Sunday.

The five minutes mainly focus on Beckenbauer’s past appearances in the “Sportstudio”. Former ZDF reporter Béla Réthy (67): “For me, Franz Beckenbauer is the greatest German ambassador of all time.
