Real Madrid-Barcelona: at what time and on which channel to watch the Spanish Super Cup final?

And another clasico for a new trophy is on the menu this weekend! This Sunday, January 14 at 8 p.m., Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will face each other in the final of the 40th edition of the Spanish Super Cup. The meeting is being relocated to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and will take place on the pitch at Al-Awwal Stadium.

To reach this stage of the competition, Réal Madrid had to escape the trap set by its Madrid neighbor, Atlético, and managed to win in extra time at the end of a crazy encounter (5-3). On the Catalan side, Xavi’s players offered Osasuna without much conviction to join their rival in the final for a remake of the last edition. Barcelona then won 3-1.

Record holder for the number of final victories in the competition, the Blaugrana club could lift the trophy for the fifteenth time in its history this Sunday. Current leader of the championship, Real has already won the Spanish Super Cup twelve times.

The Spanish Super Cup final between FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will kick off this Sunday, January 14 at 8 p.m. The meeting will be broadcast live on the L’Équipe channel.
