Raphael Holzhauser will not have been without a club for long. Two weeks after terminating his contract with Leuven by mutual agreement, the Austrian midfielder signed with Luxembourg champion FC Swift Hesper.
FC Swift Hesper, who became Luxembourg champions for the first time last season, are currently third in the championship (28 points). The club will now be able to count on the experience of the former player from Beerschot and Louvain, among others, to try to catch up with Differdange 03, currently first in the championship with 33 points.
An exceptional 2020/2021 season
Holzausher is a superb football player. He notably proved it during the 2021-2022 season when he wore the Beerschot jersey. He scored 16 goals and provided 16 assists and finished second in the Golden Boot.
