The future of Rafael Santos Borré has been resolved and after several weeks of rumors regarding his departure from Eintracht Frankfurt, the Colombian will have a return to South American football, especially Brazilian football.

The club that had been most interested and had very advanced negotiations was Internacional de Porto Alegre, and in the end this club was the one that acquired the services of the forward from the Colombian National Team.

Through its social networks, Internacional confirmed the signing of Borré and through a video presented its star signing.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new scorer,” was the message that Internacional left and Rafael Santos Borré appears in the video.

Likewise, Internacional also confirmed in its statement that Borré signs a contract until December 2028 and the transfer includes the acquisition of federative rights and 80% of the economic rights.

Thus, Rafael Santos Borré’s journey through European football has ended and although he had been playing for Werder Bremen, the club where he was on loan, his rights belonged to Frankfurt and despite winning a Europa League there, he later failed to achieve have a lot of continuity.

For now, Borré could have the opportunity to continue in Bremen and finish his loan that runs until the end of the season. In fact, Internacional confirmed that the deadline to join the club is 07/10/2024, prior to completing the respective procedures, but the idea is to have it immediately.
