Pro D2. The FCG loses an executive for several weeks

Its next deadlines in February

The medical verdict on his injury indicates an absence from the field of between four and six weeks. Madeira will therefore miss the entire 5th block of the Pro D2 season, which opens this week with the 15th day and a meeting against Provence Rugby for the FCG (Thursday January 4 at 9 p.m. at the Stade des Alpes).

We will therefore have to wait until February to see José Madeira – who has played seven matches, including six as a starter, since his return from the World Cup – on the pitch again. Either in Red and Blue for the Pro D2 championship; either with the “Os Lobos” jersey, for the first matches of the year 2024 with the Lusitanian selection (Belgium – Portugal scheduled for February 3 as part of the Rugby Europe Championship).
