The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam tournament of the season. The favorite to win the tournament overall is once again defending champion Novak Djokovic (36). The Serb is traveling to Melbourne as number 1 in the current tennis world rankings. Last year, “Djoker” was able to prevail against Stefanos Tsitsipas (25).
In the women’s race, Aryna Sabalenka (25) is the defending champion. Sabalenka won against Jelena Rybakina (24) in the 2023 final.
