Yesterday afternoon the Flying Squad Hawks intervened near Piazza Dante to report a theft by two men who had fled on foot.
The police, while passing near Piazza San Domenico Maggiore, intercepted the reported subjects and blocked them. At that moment, the operators were approached by a man who, pointing to the two, said that, shortly before, they had approached a woman in a suspicious manner in Piazza Dante and had attempted to open her backpack.
The same man intervened to make them desist but the suspects first attempted to take away his phone and then pushed him forcefully and fled. For these reasons, a 30-year-old from Tunisia and a 25-year-old from Morocco, with a police record, were arrested for attempted aggravated robbery and personal injury.
