PMU – Arrival of the quinté on Thursday January 11 in Cagnes-sur-Mer: the consecration for Floréal

Arrival of the quinté: 8 – 4 – 15 – 16 – 7

What a duel between Floréal (n° 8) and Ideal du Rocher (n° 4)! In the lead since the first hectometers, the two geldings did not leave the front posts throughout the race. In the opposite line, Ideal du Rocher seemed to have taken the advantage but a magnificent final straight line from Floréal, driven and coached by Robin Bouvier, allowed him to win for the first time at this level. The resident of Charley Mottier, driven by François Lagadeuc, must therefore be content with a promising second place.

“It’s a lot of work, a lot of effort from my family, from everyone, it’s great to bring back this victory,” confides Robin Bouvier, very moved, after the race at the Equidia microphone. We didn’t start with much, we were able to make up for lost time. The horse went through the stages one by one and became what it is today. It’s really our horse with my brother, it’s magnificent. »

Eric The Eel (n° 15), Écho de Chanlecy (n° 16) and Douglas du Pont (n° 7) complete the good combination of the day.
