They repeat their favorite trick. In the summer, the management of Viktoria brought Sampson Dweh on loan from Vyškov. It was a hit, the Liberian stopper immediately became one of the mainstays. Pilsen now reached out to the same team, this time for a foreign midfielder.
“This is a very interesting player who drew attention to himself with great performances in the second division Vyškov. With his typology, he fits into our concept and we are happy to welcome him to our team,” sports director Daniel Kolář presents the new reinforcement on the club’s website.
“The offer from Victoria is a big challenge for me, and I’m glad that everything was completed. Now it will be up to me to prove with my performances that the club chose me correctly,” acknowledges the twenty-one-year-old Cheick Souaré after signing the contract.
“Of course, I also discussed everything with Sampson Dweh, who I know very well. He clearly recommended the engagement in Pilsen to me. I’m also looking forward to the fans, who are great here,” he adds.
The French midfielder is a member of Olympique Marseille, in whose jersey he also made a start in the French top flight. He also played for the French under-16 national team. In Vyškov, the native of Arras played a total of 15 matches and recorded two goals, seven assists and was one of the prominent figures of the team.
The second newcomer is 22-year-old Alex Tamm. This is the striker of the club Nomme Kalju, who scored eleven goals and nine assists in his club last season. At the same time, he also has two starts in the jersey of the Estonian national team. “We have good references for him from Nomme Kalju, he is a young striker with great potential. That’s why we agreed that he will come to us for an exam and then we will evaluate everything,” advises Daniel Kolář.
“Of course, I know Viktorka well, I watched her matches both in the Champions League and in the fall her great run in the Conference League. Now I have a big challenge in front of me to show what I have in me during training sessions and pre-season matches. I’m looking forward to it,” says Alex Tamm.
