Novak Djokovic Suffers Right Wrist Problems During United Cup Match

Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic is suffering from problems with his right wrist.

The Serbian had to take a medical break during a game at the United Cup in Perth on Tuesday. The 36-year-old won the match against the Czech Jiri Lehecka 6:1,6:7(3),6:1, but then canceled his participation in the mixed match.

Serbia still beat the Czech Republic 2-1 and is now in the quarter-finals of the team competition and will now face hosts Australia.

The world number one spoke of pain in the joint. With a view to the upcoming Australian Open, Djokovic’s worries shouldn’t be too big. “I managed to play through it. It’s not the first time, nor the last time. We’ll see what happens now.”
