Noha Lemina’s Loan Deal: A Disappointing Turn of Events

Everyone involved had imagined this loan deal differently. At the end of August, Noha Lemina left his youth club Paris St. Germain for Sampdoria Genoa. Since then, Lemina made a 15-minute appearance for the Italian second division club shortly after his arrival.

The 18-year-old offensive player played nine times for the U19s, but has not played a role there since mid-December and has been completely left out. The next change of scenery is being sought; discussions with other clubs have already begun.

Most recently it was Wolverhampton Wanderers’ turn, and according to ‘L’Équipe’, OSC Lille have now also made contact and presented their project to the former French U17 international. In Paris, the 1.68 meter tall right-footer – who can be used in the attacking midfield and on the flanks – is only under contract until the summer of 2025. There is a big question mark about a return to PSG, as well as about staying in Genoa.
