Frenchman Nils Allègre won the first super-G in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany on Saturday, signing his first success in the Alpine Ski World Cup at the age of 30.
At the end of a superb round, the rider from Briançon beat the Italian Guglielmo Bosca (+18 hundredths) and the Swiss Loïc Meillard (+25 hundredths). The favorites Marco Odermatt and Cyprien Sarrazin, who had shared all the speed victories for a month, were ousted from the podium.
