Nick Kyrgios Predicts a Bright Future for Jannik Sinner

However, this is not surprising for Eurosport expert Nick Kyrgios: “I was there when he played against Novak in Turin at the end of the year and then later at the Davis Cup. I thought to myself that this guy would soon be knocking on the door.”

“I’ve seen him improve in his serve and in general. Added to that is the maturity for his young age – that’s something I never had myself.”

Kyrgios on Sinner: “Unstoppable”

Kyrgios had also expected the young Italian to win a Grand Slam title this year and his prediction was now confirmed early in the season.

“I predicted he would win a Slam in 2024 – whether in Australia or at the US Open.”

“This is a huge leap for Sinner,” Kyrgios added at Eurosport and also predicted a golden future for the South Tyrolean: “He will win many more Grand Slams in the next few years.”

“Now that he has won this tournament, he will be unstoppable. He is showing his incredible maturity. He has just won the biggest title of his life and yet he is so humble,” the 28-year-old couldn’t help but rave out of here.

Kyrgios believes Sinner can do great things

The “bad boy” of tennis was particularly impressed by the redhead’s likeable nature: “He’s a really nice guy and you can tell that he’s already set his sights on the next goal.”

“He wants to continue playing these finals, he wants to continue to be successful at the Grand Slams. He is not satisfied.”

“What a player,” continued Kyrgios happily. “He will be at the top of the world for a very long time.”
