Boston Celtics @ Toronto Raptors 105:96

This is certainly not how Dennis Schröder imagined a reunion with his former team! When the Boston Celtics visited, the Toronto Raptors suffered a 96:105 defeat.

The defeat against the best team in the Eastern Conference was the fourth defeat in a row.

The German captain scored 13 points and seven rebounds in 33 minutes. Head coach Darko Rajakovic brought the point guard off the bench like last time. The Raptors’ best thrower was RJ Barrett with 24 points.

As is often the case with the Celtics, the collective was convincing, with all players in the starting five scoring in double figures. Jrue Holiday and Derrick White scored 22 points.

Boston remains first in the East with a record of 31:9, while the Raptors are outside the playoff places with 15 wins and 25 losses.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers 105:112

Joy at the LA Lakers. After two defeats in a row, it was enough to win 112:105 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Superstar LeBron James, who had not played recently, was the second best scorer with 25 points.

Anthony Davis was the Lakers’ top scorer and scored 27 points. At OKC, Jalen Williams impressed with 25 points. LA currently has the last play-in spot in the West.

Coby White was already the Bulls’ top scorer with 18 points.

Miami Heat @ Brooklyn Nets 96:95

A basketball game couldn’t be any closer! The Miami Heat were able to celebrate a 96:95 win in their guest game against the Brooklyn Nets – after overtime!

For the guests, two players almost single-handedly ensured the victory: Jimmy Butler (31 points) and Tyler Herro (29 points). Mikal Bridges was the Nets’ best scorer with 26 points.

Indiana Pacers @ Utahl Jazz 105:132

The Utah Jazz’s winning streak continues! The hosts celebrated their sixth win in a row with a 132:105 win against the Indiana Pacers.

The Jazz were carried by the duo Lauri Markkanen (32 points) and Collin Sexton (30 points). Meanwhile, for the Pacers, who acted as a collective, no player scored more than 14 points.

Orlando Magic @ New York Knicks 98:94

Without the Wagner brothers, the Orlando Magic scored an important away win in the NBA. Thanks to the 98:94 win over the New York Knicks led by the German-American Isaiah Hartenstein, Orlando maintains contact with the direct playoff places and is directly behind the Knicks (23:17) with a record of 22:18 victories.

Center Hartenstein showed another convincing performance despite the defeat with seven points and twelve rebounds. Franz Wagner was still missing with ankle problems, his brother Moritz was in the squad but did not play.

New Orleans Pelicans @ Dallas Mavericks 120:125

Maxi Kleber and the Dallas Mavericks won 125:120 against the New Orleans Pelicans even without superstar Luka Doncic, who still had an ankle injury.

Kleber finally made the decision with 1.6 seconds left with two converted free throws; the 31-year-old had a total of four points and five rebounds in 19 minutes.

Houston Rockets @ Philadelphia 76ers 115:124

Reigning MVP Joel Embiid returned to the line-up after knee problems in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 124:115 win against the Houston Rockets – and how.

In just 31 minutes, the center scored 41 points and ten rebounds and thus kept his mega series alive: In the 16th consecutive appearance, Embiid managed a 30/10 game, only NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain managed a longer series.

Detroit Pistons @ Washington Wizards 129:117

The Detroit Pistons won their fourth game of the season (with 36 defeats) at 129:117 at the Washington Wizards after seven defeats in a row.

The worst team in the NBA had already set the negative record with 28 bankruptcies in a row this season, but then won against Dennis Schröder and the Toronto Raptors.

San Antonio Spurs @ Atlanta Hawks 99:109

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs went bankrupt again. The scoreboard for the Atlanta Hawks was 99:109.

The Hawks had led by 35 points in the first half, then the Spurs turned on the turbo and came within six points. However, they were unable to complete the second largest comeback in NBA history.

For the Hawks, Trae Young impressed with 36 points, but super rookie Victor Wembanyama’s 26 points were not enough for the Spurs to win.
