The NBA has shared the 28 players who will participate in the Rising Star Challenge framed within the All-Star Weekend which will be held this February in the city of Indianapolis. The cast is made up of eleven rookies, ten ‘sophomores’ and seven players from the Development League.
This is the list with all the players, who have been voted by the NBA coaches and technical staff. The match will take place on Friday the 16th.

Like last season, the Rising Stars event will consist of four teams and three matches. The seven G League players will form a team, coached by former NBA player Detlef Schrempf. The other 21 players will be divided into three teams led by former NBA and WNBA stars Pau Gasol, Jalen Rose and Tamika Catchings.

The four teams will be divided into two duels in an initial round. The winners of those two matches will face each other for the Rising Stars championship. The two semi-finals will be played with a target score of 40 points, while the final will be played with a target score of 25 points.
