An exceptional match
On January 11, the Brooklyn Nets and the Cleveland Cavaliers participated in the NBA Paris Game 2024. Since 2020, this is the 3rd NBA match to take place in Paris. But why do great American teams come to compete in France? Well, because the NBA has a strong connection with our country. Indeed, many French basketball players, like Victor Wembanyama, play on American teams and participate in the American championship. In addition, France has a lot of basketball fans!
This year, around 16,000 spectators paid several hundred euros to attend the NBA Paris Game. Among them were stars, like footballer Kylian Mbappé. The match also was broadcast on TV. And it was the Cleveland Cavaliers who won!
