Nathan Tjoe-A-On is playing on loan for SC Heerenveen for the rest of the season. The 22-year-old defender comes from Swansea City AFC, which the Dutchman took over from Excelsior last summer.
Tjoe-A-On is a left wing defender and played 57 matches for Excelsior. His good development in Rotterdam earned him a transfer to the English Championship last summer. Unfortunately, the defender did not yet make an official debut here. In Fryslân, Tjoe-A-On wants to go for its chances again. General manager Ferry de Haan: “We have always said that we wanted to add an extra left back. Nathan has done well at Excelsior and has now consciously chosen to compete with us. With him there we will have more options at the back.”
