Cam Newton could be prepared to revive his Dirty Bird.
“I have seven lovely kids whom I enjoy taking to football , tennis , and cheerleading practices,” Newton shared on an episode of RG3 and The Ones. “It can be a challenge to keep up with their daily activities and responsibilities, such as taking them to school. But even if I don’t receive a call, it’s all good. I have other ventures and sources of income to support my family.”
However, Newton only provided him with a single one.
On Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Football , former wide receiver and Carolina Panthers legend Brandon Marshall joined as a guest. Marshall, who co-hosts the “I am ICONIC Live Tour” with Newton, inquired about his friend’s interest in coming back to the football field and requested three teams that he would consider playing for.Hmmm . . .
The story was first published on Panthers Wire.
Unfortunately, his hometown is currently lacking a quarterback and coincidentally, he has a previous connection with Bill Belichick, who is considered the top choice to fill the head coach position for the Falcons.Newton, an Atlanta, Ga. native, has clearly enjoyed settling back into his hometown roots. A huge part of that enjoyment has come in his life as a father, something he alluded to back in October.
