The facilities of the Ministry of Sports (Miderec) and the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) served as stops on the torch relay of the Military and Police Sports Games, which are preparing to inaugurate their 53rd version on January 31.

Both stops were led by the president of the Sports Circle, Brigadier General Delio Colón Rosario, of the Army of the Dominican Republic, as well as the Olympic medalist Luisito Pie, who was in charge of carrying the torch on behalf of the athletes.
