Fossano is celebrating, together with Michea Godano, who won his second overall Italian title in the compound, at the end of the Italian event held last weekend in Castel di Sangro.

In the decisive match, the Arcieri Tigullio representative prevailed over Giusto Magrelli (Arcieri del Medio Chienti) with the result of 66-63, while the final for third place rewarded the defending champion Marco Bruno (Fiamme Azzurre) who beats Fabio Ibba (Arcieri del Torrazzo) 67-62. In the team test, however, the Ligurian team did not go beyond the wooden medal, which with Godano, Fancello and Valenza, lost 57-46 in the final for 3rd place against the Arcieri Iuvenilia.

The last few weeks have been intense, also for Emma Bergia. After having participated in the inter-regional competition in Asti in mid-July, the young Fossanese took part in the national youth meeting in Rovereto from 17 to 20 July. Therefore, from 20 to 23 July she took part in the same Italian Country Shooting Championships which also saw Godano at the start and in which the young Fossanese came close to the top-5, achieving a prestigious sixth place, strongly influenced by an intense sun , which was the backdrop to rich days of shooting, which arrived after a long “up and down” trip across the Peninsula.

The winner was Ilaria Melchiori of Arcieri Altopiano Pinè. Now, training continues for Emma, ​​in view of the Italian Targa Championships, scheduled for Lucca on 25 and 26 August. Daniele Abrate, his teammate at Asd Arcieri Clarascum, achieved an excellent third place in the Olympic Arch test, Students category, in the 10th Vischi Trophy, an interregional competition held in Bellinzago Novarese on Sunday 23 July.
