Mexico rules out that labor rights were violated at the Fujikura Automotive plant – El Sol de México

Mexico concluded the internal investigation of the review request at the Fujikura Automotive plant, located in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, in accordance with the Quick Response Labor Mechanism of the T-MEC, since it did not find elements that prove a denial of freedom of association and Collective negotiation.

The closure of the case will be analyzed jointly by the governments of Mexico and the United States.

The results of the investigation were shared by Mexico with the US government, stating that during the investigation period it did not find sufficient evidence to determine the existence of actions that allegedly constitute transgressions of Mexican legislation.
