Mexican Women’s Recurve Bow Team Wins Gold Medal at Archery World Cup

The Mexican women’s team recurve bow integrated to Aída Román, Alejandra Valencia and Ángela Ruiz, won the gold medal this Sunday at the World Cup held in Turkey, after overwhelmingly winning (6-0) to China in the grand final.

The Mexican archers defeated Hai Ligan, An Qixuan and Zhang Mengyao with partial scores of 55-51, 55-54, and 57-53 to climb to the top of the podium and win the gold medal.

The Mexican team’s path to victory in the World Cup included victories against the hosts of Türkiye in the first instance; later in Quarterfinals beat Italy and in the Semifinal to Spain.
