Mexico City.- One more Mexican will arrive at the Major League Baseball (MLB)Well, the infielder Angel Arredondowho has been a member of the Red Devils of Mexico since 2021, signed with the current winners of the World SeriesTExas Rangers, thus fulfilling one of his great dreams as a professional. Now he will seek to advance until he finally debuts in the Major Leagues, the next step for him.
Angel was born in Guaymas sonora and he is the son of the former baseball player Hernando Arredondo. His path in baseball began at the age of four in the Fishing Sector League de Guaymas and his talent did not go unnoticed, as he was signed by the Red Devils of Mexico on October 18, 2021 when he was 14 years old. That’s how she started in Alfredo Harp Helú Baseball Academy until he debuted in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB).
His debut took place in 2023 against the Quintana Roo Tigers, his good work kept him on the team throughout the summer campaign where he finally participated in 36 games, in which he had 19 hits, seven runs scored, a home run and 14 runs produced, with 11 walks and 30 strikeouts. His batting average was .226. With those numbers he leaves for his new adventure, which has left him happy.

Although he has already taken the first step, Arredondo’s path to the Major Leagues will still have to go through a process, because after being signed, he will first travel to the Texas Rangers Academy in the Dominican Republic.
