We have always been strangers to political events, however we have always been fans of any mayor who has governed our city, so that the good of our MANDURIA is done.
There are those who have succeeded with their work, those who have partially succeeded and those who have failed completely. This city deserves at least to be respected and informed about what happens on the palace. Let’s get to what is happening in this period regarding the resurfacing of the turf at the Nino Dimitri stadium. The works had to be completed within 90 days: expected to start in mid-September. In reality they lasted well beyond these terms and around 1000/1500 fans are anxiously awaiting their “home”. Let’s remember that our municipality has taken out a loan to finance the work and therefore it is citizens’ money and no one is giving us anything. Every Sunday we have to go and play on other fields, depriving ourselves of the only diversion that this city offers. Let’s remember that we don’t have a theater, a cinema, a sports hall. Nothingness. We only have landfills and future purifiers.
On 21/01 we were supposed to play the first leg of the Italian Cup against Molfetta in our stadium, but even today the synthetic grass surface hasn’t even been installed. Even today no one officially tells us where to play. The thing that makes us most angry is the silence and indifference in the lack of information and communication to citizens/fans.
As a matter of respect and to be able to organize ourselves as best as possible, the ULTRAS GROUPS are waiting for a certain answer no later than Sunday 14/01 whether the game will be played at DIMITRI or elsewhere. At our own expense we organized a choreography worthy of another category, without asking anything from anyone, because out of love for our city and our shirt we are the ones who make this valley of tears alive.
