Manchester United Eyeing Thomas Tuchel as Potential Replacement for Erik ten Hag

Liputan6.com, Jakarta Manchester United has reportedly looked at a new candidate to replace Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford. The news says that the Red Devils have included Thomas Tuchel’s name as a potential figure to occupy the club’s coaching chair.

As is known, Erik ten Hag is currently under great pressure. The former Ajax Amsterdam coach has not succeeded in bringing Manchester United to a promising appearance throughout the 2023/2024 campaign.

MU is known to have been eliminated from the Champions League and Carabao Cup competitions this season. The squad concocted by Ten Hag was also only able to rank 8th in the standings with a score of 32 points from 21 matches in the Premier League.

Report Metro said Sir Jim Ratcliffe had no plans to end his collaboration with Ten Hag at Old Trafford. The INEOS CEO is still committed to seeing its performance, at least until the summer.

However, Manchester United’s new investors are also starting to prepare a list of new candidates in case the Dutch tactician is forced to be expelled from the club.

Thomas Tuchel is the name the Red Devils are targeting after the Premier League giants were also previously claimed to be targeting failed Chelsea coach Graham Potter.
