Luka Doncic enjoys with Dallas against Golden State

In MVP mode. On the floor of Golden State, Luka Doncic gave himself a recital during the success of Dallas, on the night of Saturday to Sunday (132-122), remaining within his standards this season (33.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 9.3 assists on average): almost a triple double (39 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds) for the Mavericks leader, who largely contributed to Golden State’s third consecutive defeat.

After missing the game against Minnesota two days earlier due to quadriceps pain, the 24-year-old Slovenian planted 25 of his 39 points during the second period to make the difference. Doncic is the second player in NBA history to average more than 35 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists in a month (10 games minimum), after Oscar Robertson, in December 1960.

Still deprived of Kyrie Irving (injured foot), Dallas was also able to count on Dereck Lively II (12 points and 14 rebounds) and Dante Exum (19 pts) to respond to the triggers of the Warriors Stephen Curry (25 points and 7 assists) and Chris Paul (24 points and 6 assists), who became the 37th player in NBA history to exceed 22,000 career points.
