Leinster unfolds and wins largely against Stade Français

Unsurprisingly, Stade Français lost heavily on the pitch at Aviva Stadium where Leinster demonstrated its superiority to win easily (43-07). However, the young Parisians will not have to be ashamed of their performance.

As expected, there was no match. Facing the typical Leinster team, the reworked Stade Français team was no match and lost (43-05) for the third time in as many Champions Cup matches. After a convincing and courageous start to the match, Gonzalo Quesada’s men suffered as the match progressed and were already 17 points behind at half-time. Before breaking down in the second half and conceding 4 other tries. Segonds’ try at the very end of the match rewarded the Parisians’ efforts (80′). A test which does not prevent the French club from being in last place in this group 4. They have definitively said goodbye to qualifying for the final phase. However, we will have to leave the competition on a good note against the Stormers to get back into the TOP 14.
