The Columbus Blue Jackets, represented by Latvian goalkeeper Elvja Merzlikina, suffered a loss in the National Hockey League (NHL) game in Seattle on Sunday.
“Blue Jackets” lost to Seattle “Kraken” 2:4.
Merzlikin did not go to the field, but Daniil Tarasov saved 22 of 25 shots in the away goal.
Yegor Chinakhov scored both goals for the Columbus team. For the hosts, Jordan Eberle collected three (2+1) R&D points, also scoring the winning goal, while Jared Macken (1+1) and Oliver Bjorkstrand (0+2) collected two R&D points each.
