Keisei (Kumamoto) participated in the Basketball Winter Cup for the second year in a row. Without their mainstay, Senegalese exchange student Joba Lo, due to injury, they showed a back-and-forth battle against Japan Airlines (Yamanashi). He cornered his opponent until the end of the fourth quarter, but fell just short.
