Juventus, after having archived the double match with Salernitana between the round of 16 of the cup and the championship, is preparing for Thursday’s quarter-finals against Frosinone, with a view to the semi-final against the winner of the Rome derby. Morning training ended around 2pm: those who played went to the swimming pool and gym, while the others took to the field with the young players of the Next Gen. Infirmary point: Chiesa’s knee deflated, but he still worked separately on Monday and remains in doubt for Frosinone; towards Sassuolo in the championship, however, the feelings are positive.
Rabiot stops, Cambiaso in doubt
Rabiot, however, will not be present in the Italian Cup on Thursday. For the Frenchman, on the pitch for ninety minutes against Salernitana, overloaded his right thigh flexor. Cambiasoon the other hand, is getting over the flu: he worked inside and not outside with the team and he too needs to be evaluated. All ok though Alex Sandro, on the pitch for the last time on 23 December in Serie A against Frosinone: complete training for him with the team. Finally, customized works continue for Kean (out since the beginning of December) e Of Sciglio (whose season has not yet started after the anterior cruciate ligament injury last May).
