The JUDO ASKÖ Luftenberg section is again offering a judo course for children and young people from the 1st grade onwards.
The course starts on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 5:50 p.m. in the VS Luftenberg gymnastics hall. Training is every Thursday from 5:50 p.m. to 7:10 p.m. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Trial training is now possible upon registration.
Judo is not just a martial art. In addition to fitness and technical elements, judo places great emphasis on teaching social values such as honesty, willingness to help, politeness, self-control, respect, courage, etc.
The roll and fall school or reaction training are important factors in judo through which accidents can be avoided or minimized (e.g. falls while cycling, inline skating, skiing or football).
