Jerami Grant and Malcolm Brogdon: The NBA Trade Market Heat Up

He starts with less of a poster than Lauri Markkanen and Pascal Siakam, but Jerami Grant should be one of the big names on the market. The forward signed a contract for 160 million and 6 years in July of last year, but the moment of the Portland Trail Blazers does not seem to fit completely with that of the player. Grant would be an important piece on any team called to compete in the playoffs. And, as such, several teams have asked about him in these last few weeks of the market. Especially Dallas and Sacramento.

The Kings seem better positioned, with Harrison Barnes, Kevin Huerter and Davion Mitchell as pieces to offer. However, it seems that the Blazers would not be too interested in holding discussions for their forward. Especially due to the remaining length of his contract. On the other hand, what they are looking for with greater interest in Portland is a buyer for Malcolm Brogdon.

With several teams in need of a point guard, the former Boston, Indiana and Milwaukee player does seem like a more feasible option to leave Oregon. Brogdon’s contract ends in 2025, and it seems that the New York Knicks would be the franchise most interested in acquiring his services, as they have been looking for an outside player since the departure of Immanuel Quickley in the transfer for OG Anunoby.
