Rosières. Interclubs with the Badminton Club de l’Emblavez. Sunday January 14, the Badminton-Club de l’Emblavez (BCE) hosted an interclub tournament which brought together the teams from Brives Charensac, Brioude, Yssingeaux, Langeac, Saint-Romain-Lachalm and the BCE.
The locals had four teams entered, two in the second division championship and two in the new Discovery championship set up this season.
The results :
Second division championship: Team A finished first in its group with 6 victories in as many matches and will play for promotion to the first division at the Langeac tournament which will take place on February 25.
Team B finished third in its group with two wins, four draws and 2 defeats.
Discovery Championship:
Team A with two wins and one loss is third overall. Team B with one victory and two defeats ranks fourth in its group.
