Stars Indonesian National team expressed pride in defending the Red and White Team which succeeded in making history in 2023 Asian Cup.
The Indonesian national team successfully made history for the first time qualifying for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup.
Unfortunately, Indonesia had to stop in the round of 16 after losing 0-4 to Australia, Sunday (28/1).
Even though they stopped in the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup, the Indonesian national team stars said they were proud to be able to represent the Red and White team in this tournament.
“It is a great honor to be able to represent Indonesia in the Asian Cup. I am proud of the performance we showed but we will also learn from this experience. This is just the beginning for us,” said Elkan Baggott, quoted from his personal Instagram page on Monday (29/1).

Indonesian national team striker Egy Maulana Vikri also expressed his pride in fighting alongside other players for the Red and White team.
“Proud to fight together with these brothers to defend Indonesia, a very valuable experience!” said Egy quoted from his personal Instagram page, Monday (29/1).
“There are many lessons learned and shortcomings that will be corrected in the future. Thank you, the Indonesian national team family and also the supporters who always support us. Thank you Asian Cup until we meet again,” added Egy.

Indonesian national team defender Jordi Amat also said he was very proud to be able to give his maximum performance at the Asian Cup.
“I only have one word for this team: proud. We gave everything until the last minute. Thank you Indonesia and all the fans for their support. We will come back stronger!” said Jordi Amat, quoted from his personal Instagram page.
