After the Christmas break, the IES La Orden Badminton Club resumes the league Top 10 Iberdrola and opens 2024 with an important date at home. The Albiazules host the ANT Group next Saturday, November 13, starting at 5:30 p.m. Neck guardsin the face of which there is no other outcome other than victory.
The Huelva team currently occupies second place in the standings, just behind UD Ibiza-Bádminton Pitius, current leader of Group A, after suffering its first league defeat on matchday four against Ravachol Pontevedra, thus reducing its margin of error during the regular phase. Therefore, they need to achieve a clear victory on Saturday that will allow them to start this year with optimism and shore up their chances of qualifying for the semifinals.
“Against Paracuellos we have to get the victory no matter what,” says the club’s sports director, Paco Ojeda. Although the rival currently occupies the last place in the standings, Ojeda is clear that he should not be complacent. “He is in our hands. He is the bottom but he is going to come for everything and it has already been shown that no team gives in,” he admits.
